The Many Adventures of Thomas Thornberry Scot

Here's a sneak peek at my new book The many adventures of Thomas Thornberry Scot.

Chapter 16

The Curse
Tom walked out of the mirror, Brushing mirror-goop out of his hair.
Andrew was talking to the sphinx. His ears perked up as Tom walked forward.
Andrew turned around and walked toward him. "I've got the hair,” he said,
holding up the golden hair. “Now all we have to do is find the other things
and get out of here.”

“Let’s go to the giants next,” said Tom. He shook the cross and Tom and
Andrew vanished, reappearing moments later in the giant camp. Then suddenly
out of nowhere appeared a giant black form, with glowing red eyes, deranged
and malicious. His voice was barely more that a whisper, but a whisper that
pierced a heart with terror.

The form said, “How dare you try to stop me. I will get you for this.”

Suddenly all of Tom’s and Andrew’s worst fears surrounded them, crushing them
from the inside out blinding him with fear.

“We’ve got to get out of here!” shouted Tom, as he quaked with fear. The form
and his servants lunged towards them.

Andrew shouted, “Get the cross!”

Tom grabbed it and took the cross’ potion and poured it onto the soil and the soil
vanished without a trace. They fell down … down … down, to the depths below.
